Lois decides to accompany Malcolm on his college visit, but when she finds out that his dorm is co-ed, she insists on staying there with him. Meanwhile, Dewey, frustrated by his father's refusal to buy him a piano, starts pilfering items from their home to entertain himself and annoy Hal. Meanwhile, Reese encounters a girl he suspects is an informant. To impress her, he pretends to be a drug dealer, not realizing that she’s actually an undercover police officer.
