S05E23 Suspicious Minds
Episode Overview
Sun Hill's C.I.D. and Vice Squad execute a raid on six flats to dismantle a pornography ring. While five of the flats are spotless, one raises suspicions that the targets may have been alerted beforehand. D.C. Dashwood notes that D.I. Burnside made a phone call just prior to the operation and confides in D.S. Roach, who wants to steer clear of the issue. Dashwood then reports his concerns to Ch. Insp. Conway, who summons Burnside for questioning. Burnside claims he was speaking to his travel agent, prompting Conway to verify his story. Meanwhile, P.C. Smith and W.P.C. Ackland stop a reckless driver, who turns out to be connected to the raid. He assists Burnside in tracking down the ringleader, Collins, who clears Sun Hill of any wrongdoing, but Burnside warns Roach that he will uncover who tipped him off. Smith and Ackland also intervene when a man tries to dump trash
