Episode Overview
Hope faces the heartbreak of a miscarriage just as Michael and Elliot start their new roles at DAA under Miles Drentell. During their interview at the agency, Michael receives a call from Hope, revealing the ultrasound results that show fetal demise. Although she tries to remain composed, the news weighs heavily on them. Later, Elliot shares the exciting news that they both landed the jobs, but Michael feels the need to confide in him about what happened. Despite his hesitation about starting at DAA, Hope urges Michael to go in. There, he and Elliot meet another creative duo, Angel Wasserman and Hollis Amato, who seem to toy with their emotions. After work, Michael returns home to Hope, who is pleased to see him, but their moment is interrupted by a work call from Elliot, leaving Hope feeling a bit overshadowed. Meanwhile, Hope confides in Val about her desire to work for Synergy, who encourages her to pursue it.
