Episode Overview
Melissa grapples with her feelings about the age gap between her and Lee, while a budding romance unfolds between Russell Weller and Peter Montefiore. When Russell visits Melissa, he’s taken aback to find Lee in just a towel. Later, Melissa introduces Russell to Peter at DAA, encouraging Michael to highlight Peter’s charm, unaware that Michael didn’t know Peter was gay. As passion flares between Lee and Melissa, he questions why she hasn’t introduced him to her friends, prompting her to assure him they’ll have dinner with the Steadmans soon. While photographing Russell painting, Melissa grows anxious about her friends meeting Lee, and Lee feels uneasy about seeing Peter again. She intentionally skips a locksmith for Lee’s key, and when they arrive at the Steadmans, she frets despite her friends’ warm reception of her new boyfriend.
