As Marco and Keith prepare for their commitment ceremony, tensions rise between Rose and Sage when Rose opts to skip their annual spring break plans in favor of a solo trip, leaving Sage feeling hurt. Zachary notices Rose's rapid maturation and worries about the implications for their relationship. Meanwhile, Sage faces her own challenges when Luis expresses his disbelief in gay marriage and declines to attend Marco and Keith's wedding. In another storyline, Will and Megan clash over their differing creative visions regarding Will's career and Megan's struggle for independence. In a bright spot, Megan completes her biography of Laurel, who gives it the green light for publication.
