Episode Overview

While returning from a bombing mission over the Ruhr Valley, bombs are unintentionally released on Ste Monique. 1st Lieutenant Parks, the bombardier, faces questioning about the incident. One bomb strikes the village square, resulting in the death of resistance leader Pierre Fecamp. Meanwhile, two pilots, Major Coefield from the 918th and Captain Pollard from the 511th Fighter Squadron, manage to evade capture. Pollard has developed feelings for Claudine, the woman who saved them, but her son, severely injured and at risk of losing his leg, was brought to England. Claudine harbors a deep hatred for Gallagher and plans to kill him. She joins him at the 918th officers club, where the pilots indulge in drinks. In Ste Monique, Hauptman Bergdorf decides against bombing due to the previous mission, allowing for the establishment of a German Radar Station. On the way to Wing HQ in Archbury, Claudine attempts to assass
