Episode Overview
During a bombing raid on the Focke Wulfe Factory in Marienberg, East Prussia, the 918th faces heavy fighter attacks, resulting in the loss of nine aircraft and 100 men. The 966th squadron suffered a similar fate the day before. Gallagher’s radioman picks up German communications, inspiring Gallagher to create confusion by broadcasting on their frequency. Upon returning, the crew discovers that the mission details were relayed by the "Danzig Lady." Meanwhile, Sandy is dating an English girl, Helen Graham, who is visibly upset by the news. It turns out Helen is actually Helen Conboy, and her sister, Patricia, is the "Danzig Lady." Sandy reports this to British Intelligence, which sends an agent to investigate. Unfortunately, the agent’s contact, a waiter under Gestapo surveillance, is killed by the agents.
