Episode Overview

When a not-so-bright local (guest star Sean Astin) wins a substantial payout at the Montecito, Danny is tasked with ensuring the winner and his bag of cash are safe. However, the excitement turns tragic when the new millionaire suddenly collapses, allegedly from a heart attack. As the man's avaricious wife arrives to claim the fortune, she finds both the body and the cash missing. Sensing a con, Danny sets out on a quest to locate the vanished money. Meanwhile, Ed's mother Bette (guest star June Lockhart) visits, sharing amusing stories about Ed's childhood, while Sam tries to manage two frugal coupon enthusiasts bent on leaving Vegas without spending a cent.
