Episode Overview
She suddenly finds herself disconnected from the world, stranded in an unfamiliar stretch of ocean, where bizarre creatures roam. It appears she has been catapulted back a million years in time. Meanwhile, the Admiral steps out of his cabin only to discover he’s in his Santa Barbara office, facing the enigmatic Mr. Pem and his miniature time machine. He must navigate a treacherous game to restore the flow of time. Early in the episode, there are two notable scientific inaccuracies: Nelson captures images of an eclipse with a regular camera, but the developed photos reveal galaxies and nebulae visible only through a telescope, while the Admiral mistakenly refers to these images as 'constellations.' Henry Jones (Pem) also appears as Sprague in "Night of Terror" and returns as Pem in "No Way Back." This episode includes recycled footage from "Thing from Inner Space."
