Episode Overview

The judges make their way to Newcastle, where two competing bands successfully advance to the next stage. A girl auditions alongside her two close friends, but Simon tells her she must go solo if she hopes to continue. After a heartfelt conversation with her friends, she decides to audition alone in front of the judges. Meanwhile, Louis reconnects with a former acquaintance, and Simon encourages him to ask her out. However, when she arrives for their lunch date with her dog, Louis panics and makes a quick exit through the back door to escape Simon.
