As Sebastian heals from a fractured foot, Charles meets his younger sister Cordelia and older brother Brideshead, affectionately known as Bridey. Encouraged by his family, Sebastian agrees to join his father, Lord Marchmain, on a trip to Venice, inviting Charles to accompany him.
