This year, Hilton Lucas faces walls crumbling in more ways than one. Kicking off the second season, he breaks the "fourth wall," directly engaging with viewers as he shares his thoughts and even winks at the camera about recent events. He's got plenty to react to, starting with two new housemates. His daughter Erica returns home, while neighbor Griffin, after a disastrous record deal, moves into the attic, which he plans to renovate. After encouraging both Erica and Griffin to chase their dreams, Hilton finds himself in a tight spot when Erica leaves her lucrative law job to pursue culinary school and Griffin’s misfortunes force him to stay in the attic.
