Bradin returns from his surf tour overseas, accompanied by a laid-back surfer named Bryce and his girlfriend. He feels a bit disconnected when he spots his friends enjoying a party in the hot tub. Instead of heading to the restaurant with Derrick to have a webcam conversation with Ava, he opts out. Jay grows worried about Bradin's choices and lifestyle. Meanwhile, Ava finds herself missing the kids.
