Episode Overview
The contestants faced a unique challenge with a frozen Mystery Box, the only one of the season, featuring ingredients like rosella, chili, beetroot, and berry liquor. With two-and-a-half hours on the clock, everyone except Anna, Andy, and Reynold had to whip up a frozen creation using at least one ingredient. As the tasting began, Kay-Lene’s dessert, inspired by her mentor Andres Lara, impressed Amaury and earned her safety. Kirsten, Gareth, and Jess also received praise, despite Jess’s first beetroot tuile batch being burnt. However, the judges questioned Adriano's lack of frozen elements, while Morgan’s excessive liquor resulted in his sorbet melting, ultimately leading to his elimination.
