The XAT agents start to fall sick one by one. Suddenly, in reaction to a large influx of Amalgams in the city, the agents themselves begin transforming into Amalgams. A brutal conflict erupts between the agents who have changed and those who remain human. Amidst the chaos, Joseph finally awakens, adding to the turmoil as the battle rages on.
