Concerned about Erica and Geoff's relationship hitting a rough patch, Beverly decides to meddle in their romance, as well as in Barry and Joanne's, in an effort to keep all the couples intact. At the same time, Adam and Brea are thrilled to be cast as leads in the school play. However, their enthusiasm begins to fade when one of them starts to steal the spotlight, leading to tension between the two.
