Overview

Vernon Brownmule, known as "Burnin' Vernon," is a has-been country star whose career was derailed by scandal. Two decades after his downfall, he reemerges as the second-best Elvis impersonator. A drunken mishap leads to his arrest, resulting in community service at a local church. While fulfilling his parole as the church's handyman, he assumes the role of the new minister, all while navigating unexpected twists in his personal life, including the revelation of a 15-year-old daughter from a past fling. His journey is filled with humor and the quest for redemption.
