Mrs. Gross's surgery goes well, prompting Jenny to reconsider her vow to God about donating money if her mother recovered. Meanwhile, Doug receives a job offer in London, and with his newfound single status, Sophie questions whether it’s the best moment for them to start a relationship. Additionally, Matt is determined to avoid past mistakes and is keen to marry. With Mrs. Gross cleared of health issues and Sophie backing Matt, Bec proposes they tie the knot the very next day. However, when the moment comes, will they actually go through with it?
