Episode Overview

During their investigation into the murder of a hunter discovered shot near a managed burn area in the Everglades, Delko and Alexx find themselves in grave danger as the fire unexpectedly intensifies, leaving them trapped. They seek shelter under a tarpaulin to escape the flames. Soon after, a second victim is uncovered—this time a young woman who appears to have been brutally beaten. The discovery of bite marks on her body leads Horatio to suspect that a sex offender may be connected to both her murder and the raging fire.
