Following his defeat in the retrial, Do Chang faces demotion, leaving the Violent Crimes Unit Two feeling disheartened and questioning their purpose. In the meantime, Ji Hyuk encounters Seo Gyeong, who reveals a secret voice recording she has been safeguarding. Together, Ji Hyuk and Do Chang devise a subtle plan to intimidate Superintendent Moon, hoping to track his movements and uncover his next steps.
