The Star Bearers have concluded that the soot pipes are the source of the phantoms. To restore order in the children's wing, Barbara punishes the Belle twins, responsible for breaking the coffee carafes, by making them clean the soot pipes. However, as they struggle to find the real culprit behind the chaos, the Star Bearers begin to suspect Kate.
