Episode Overview
Louis is in charge of managing Twitty's band, and they have a shot at performing at a major party hosted by Jason Bagwell, prompting them to search for a lead singer. Ren initially dislikes the band, but upon seeing Jason, she suddenly wants to join as the singer to attend the party. Louis firmly says no, but the rest of the band prefers her over the strange auditions they've had. Concerned that Ren might take control, Louis calls for a vote, but the band unanimously chooses Ren over him. Annoyed, he recruits Tom to create some electronic music and starts a competing techno band featuring Tawny's quirky poetry. Both bands audition for Jason, who ends up rejecting them, revealing himself to be rather unpleasant, making everyone relieved they didn't get the gig. Ultimately, the two bands unite to form a "super band" and perform at a children's birthday party instead.
