Episode Overview
During lunch at school, Louis and Tawny are chatting when she mentions something's bothering her eye. Louis leans in for a closer look and unexpectedly kisses her! Both are taken aback by the moment until Ren arrives, breaking the spell as she whisks Tawny away for a costume fitting for her play. Louis shares the kiss story with Twitty but admits he’s unsure of Tawny's feelings. Twitty heads to rehearsal to dig for answers, where Tawny asks him to tell Louis to meet her at her locker the next morning. Meanwhile, Coach Tugnut, the unlikely theater advisor, criticizes Ren's play about Abigail and John Adams for being too dull and suggests it needs more excitement. The following day, as Louis anxiously awaits Tawny, she surprises him by expressing her desire to be his girlfriend! They happily walk off hand in hand. Back at home, the Stevens family is watching a classic romance film, which inspires Ren to add a romantic twist to her play
