Episode Overview
A group of Jefferson students is temporarily attending Lawrence Junior High, and Ren, Ruby, and Monique are on the prowl for potential dates for the upcoming semi-formal dance. Ren shares a locker with a guy named Travis Gresham, whom she has a crush on but has yet to meet despite her attempts. Meanwhile, Louis is facing the anger of several people, including Twitty, Principal Wexler, and a girl named Charlene, who even stomps on his feet due to his prankster reputation. However, the real culprit behind the mischief is an unknown person. At lunch, Ren finally hears someone call Travis by name and seizes the moment to sit with him. After chatting, she musters the courage to ask him to the dance, only to discover he’s quite a bit shorter than she imagined! Later, while browsing school records, Ren stumbles upon a student named Loomis Freeman.
