Episode Overview

The team faces a challenging task in the flat expanses of the Cambridgeshire fenland, searching for traces of an ancient civilization. They believe a long wooden path served multiple purposes: as a barrier, a defense mechanism, and a ritual walkway for placing votive offerings into the water. Their ultimate goal is to uncover a barrow, a circular burial mound from the Bronze Age. Meanwhile, Dave Chapman works on crafting a bronze axe using a primitive furnace, while wood expert Maisie Taylor explores the nearby woods for a suitable handle.
