Episode Overview

Frustrated by plans to demolish a Victorian mansion in favor of “a block of flats,” Hester launches a campaign to convince local councillor Mr. Gardner to transform it into a residence for seniors. When he questions the necessity of such a place, Hester brings him to her home, where she has enlisted Nancy, her sister Winnie, and Guy to act as if they are senile. Shocked by their antics, Gardner not only supports the idea of the home but also calls William and Hester to inform them that their quirky relatives will be moving in right away.
