Sarge and Donut slip into the Blue Base without triggering any defenses, like Sheila. Inside, they find Grif amusing himself with the gravity lift that Simmons had mistakenly thought was a hole. As Grif excitedly runs around on it, both he and Simmons ponder how Sheila managed to upgrade the base without tools or arms. Simmons realizes that discovering the truth could help him make amends with Sarge. Just then, Sarge knocks Grif out cold. Before he can deal with Simmons for treason, Church shows up and knocks Sarge out from behind, mistaking the blue Simmons for a future Blue soldier.
