Episode Overview
Title: The Grand Piano Showdown Plot: Mary makes the decision to purchase a piano, much to Lester's dismay and Brenda's reluctance to join any lessons. When Sandra and Rose come over to check out the new instrument, Rose suggests giving Mary piano lessons, prompting Sandra to join in as well. In a playful challenge, Sandra bets $20 that she will excel faster than Mary. After several lessons, Mary finds herself struggling. Pearl reveals that Sandra has prior piano experience. During a lesson, Mary proposes a recital to demonstrate their progress, astonishing Sandra with her rendition of "Minuet in G."
