Episode Overview

Brenda is tasked with writing about her "Most Interesting Relative" and turns to her parents for ideas. Lester brings up his aunt Lucy, who broke barriers as a woman brakeman. Meanwhile, after hearing about Sandra’s alleged connection to a Moroccan prince, Mary decides to dig through an old trunk for her own intriguing family history. To her surprise, she discovers that she has an uncle named Corporal Mortecai Hurley, who served in the 54th Infantry during the Civil War. She convinces Brenda to change her paper's focus to Mortecai instead.
