Episode Overview
Sandra is heartbroken when she finds out her mother is coming for a visit. She feels neglected and different from her "normal" siblings, leading her to believe her mother doesn’t love her. In an attempt to gain her mother's approval, she alters her look to appear more "ordinary." During the same weekend, a male friend is also visiting, prompting Sandra and Mary to keep them apart. Eventually, Sandra confesses to her mother about her feelings of being unloved. Her mother reveals that she was once just like Sandra before conforming to her husband’s expectations as a minister, assuring her that she loves her just the way she is. Despite their attempts, Mop and her mother meet, and the group ends up going dancing together.
