Episode Overview

While Sandra is seeing a man intent on launching a shady nightclub nearby, Mary takes action by starting a petition to prevent it from opening. At the same time, Brenda is delving into a project focused on black cowboys. As she studies these historical figures, Mary envisions them living in the Wild West. In her dream, she becomes "2-Gun Mary," the quickest draw in the region, with Lester as the Marshall and Brenda-Sue as his daughter. Rose is a former schoolteacher turned cocktail dancer, Pearl is a performer, and Sandra runs the saloon. When the villainous Jessie arrives in town, the community unites to take him down, mirroring Mary’s hopes for real life.
