Episode Overview
Lester dozes off during church and finds himself dreaming that he and Mary journey through both Heaven and Hell. In their exploration, they return to Earth to witness the fates of their loved ones. In Heaven, Brenda takes over Lester's construction company and flourishes, with Calvin stepping in as her husband. Pearl has moved in with them, while Rose struggles to cope with the loss of Mary. In contrast, Hell presents a stark reality: Calvin fails and sells the business to Julian for a mere $500. Brenda is expecting a child, and the family faces dire financial hardships. Meanwhile, Rose has married Julian, who has significantly raised the rent on their building.
