Episode Overview
Title: Video Shoot Plot: Bobby Brown arrives at Brenda's high school to film a music video, while Brenda resorts to copying an old essay from Mary to secure a role as an extra. Distracted by pep rallies, football games, and parties with Calvin at Morgan State, she procrastinates all week and finds herself unprepared on Sunday night. Although Mary earned an A+ for the same essay 25 years ago, Brenda receives a C and fails to be selected among the five featured students in the video. In the meantime, Julian persuades Travis to bring Bobby to his penthouse for a discussion about potential business collaborations. In a surprising turn, Bobby decides to include the entire class in the video shoot, allowing Brenda to participate despite her grounding and the looming requirement to complete three additional essays for Mary.
