Nick chooses to remain in Knights Ridge and attempts to persuade Dean Leslie Etwood to hire him at the local college, but he faces numerous obstacles. In a bid for revenge against Nick for his past departure, Eddie starts dating Aubrey. Ikey is upset to witness Alison and Owen on their yearly outing. Meanwhile, Hannah is furious with Nick after discovering that The Commander visited the Veterinary Care under a ridiculous pretense, merely to uncover whether Sam is Nick's son.
