Episode Overview
With Samuel locked away and Caleb nursing his injuries, Nathan tries to uplift a downcast Macky by recounting the tale of Elijah and the Prophets of Baal. Meanwhile, Portia learns that Daniel, Rebecca and Leah's father, has been taken captive by the Romans in Jerusalem. She rushes to share this troubling news with Macky and the girls, who are filled with dread. Macky vows to Rebecca and Leah that he will find a way to rescue their dad. As a heavy rainstorm begins, Samuel comforts his fellow inmates by telling them about the First Pentecost. Sollie hatches a plan to use the rainwater to inundate the palace jail, compelling the guards to unlock the cells. Samuel escapes, but Macky then reveals to his parents that he intends to travel to Jerusalem with Portia. Samuel and Diana realize they have to let their son go. Macky must continue his journey on his own.
