Episode Overview

When Macky declines to take the life of a fellow trainee during their practice session, the manager of the gladiator school resolves to throw him into the arena the following day. Given his refusal to kill, his chances of survival are slim. In a desperate move, Portia seeks out Senator Antonius, who has previously advocated for the Friends of Jesus in the Senate. However, Antonius appears reluctant to offer assistance. As their conversation unfolds, he recounts the tale of King David and Three Soldiers, and shares insights about Jesus's teachings in Nazareth.
