Shawn and Gus step into the world of academia as guest lecturers at a school for gifted students, where two pupils believe a teacher may be involved in a murder. However, they're unclear about both the victim's identity and the murderer. Meanwhile, at the precinct, Juliet passionately advocates for the lead role in the upcoming case, and Lassiter gives her a straightforward assignment. Coincidentally, it's the same case that Shawn and Gus are investigating.
