A disgruntled retired Army sergeant, frustrated by the government’s failure to provide his pension, takes his former friend Candy hostage. He coerces Candy into assisting with a bold scheme to detonate the U.S. mint in Carson City, intending to seize the gold and silver stored there and demand a ransom in return.
