Episode Overview

Hoss seeks the help of Judith Coleman, a clairvoyant with the rare ability of "second sight," to locate his missing brother, Jamie, who has vanished in the high country without a trace. Initially hesitant due to her history of being labeled a witch, Judith ultimately agrees to assist the Cartwrights because she feels indebted to them. Meanwhile, her fiancé, Jess Avery, a minister, disapproves of her psychic talents and warns that she might lose him if she fails to find Jamie. For the first time, Hoss affectionately refers to Jamie as his "little brother."
