Bonanza (1959)

Episode Overview

During a visit to the Nevada State Prison to evaluate its conditions, Ben finds himself held hostage amid a riot. This uprising is fueled by inmates desperate to highlight the terrible living situations they face. As Joe and Candy work on a strategy to defuse the crisis, Ben forms a reluctant bond with Griff King, who is initially unwelcoming. Meanwhile, Ben takes on the responsibility of relaying the inmates' requests to the warden and the state prison board.
