Episode Overview
A newcomer named Bob Jolly shows up in Virginia City, accusing Judge Harry Whitaker of wrongfully sending his father, Carl, to the gallows while under the influence. Adam, loyal to the judge due to a long-standing friendship with the Cartwrights, initially defends him. However, after speaking with Jolly, Adam starts to question the judge's integrity. As he digs deeper, Adam uncovers that both Senator Cal Prince and Hobie Klinderman, along with the judge, had motives tied to Carl Jolly's death. Determined to uncover the truth, Adam arranges an informal gathering at the saloon to discuss the case.
