Dolly Bantree finds herself under the thumb of her unscrupulous manager, "Blackie," who coerces her into conning the newly wealthy miner, Buford, out of his money. Sensing something amiss, Hoss decides to investigate further. He dresses up as a wealthy man to see if he can expose Dolly's scheme and uncover the truth behind her actions.
