Feeling down about spending Thanksgiving in the suburbs, Tessa persuades Dallas to join her for a girls' day in the city. While enjoying their time together, they unexpectedly find George kissing another woman, despite claiming he was "working." Upset by his deception, Tessa confronts him at the Royces' Thanksgiving dinner. Meanwhile, Lisa stubbornly rejects a special dress chosen by Sheila, prompting Sheila to take drastic measures and literally raise the temperature.
