Despite his lingering uncertainty, Kuramori has temporarily come to terms with Shinichi. However, his confidence is quickly shattered when he sees a parasite kill a person. This shocking sight leaves Shinichi feeling exasperated, but their brief calm is disrupted with the arrival of a new parasite.
