Episode Overview

Huaniang, a prominent consort residing in Yuanqian Palace, visits Ye Ming Palace seeking answers about her silent flower whistle. Traditionally, these whistles are hung from rooftops at winter's end to honor those who have died, as it is believed the departed return with the spring winds to sound them. Huaniang's distress stems from the fact that her whistle hasn't made a sound since the loss of her beloved, Ou Xuanyou. In response to her plea, Shouxue takes it upon herself to try to call forth Ou Xuanyou’s spirit so Huaniang can communicate with him once more.
