Episode Overview
A year after Jack's wife passed away, he finds himself distanced from his daughter Kim, who has taken on the role of a live-in au pair for a family in distress. Having left CTU behind, Jack has little interest in returning to that world—until President Palmer reaches out to him directly. The urgent matter at hand: terrorists have hidden a nuclear bomb somewhere in Los Angeles, with a countdown set to detonate it in less than a day.
