Episode Overview

Title: Day 3: 5:00 A.M.-6:00 A.M. Plot: Saunders puts pressure on President Palmer, compelling him to conduct an unusual press briefing while simultaneously issuing a kill order for the CTU operative capable of tracking him down. Meanwhile, Jack discovers a lead on a woman who might help him locate Saunders, but a sudden ambush disrupts the situation. As Gael's condition deteriorates, Michelle comes up with a strategy to alleviate the pain of those affected at the hotel.
