Episode Overview

Melanie agrees to accompany Derwin to the first Saber Sunbeam meeting of the season, only to discover that, unlike the wives, the football players' "girlfriends" are not taken seriously and are treated with disdain. Meanwhile, Derwin is at his first rookie seminar, where he faces a harsh lecture about gold diggers, STDs, and some playful hazing from his teammates. Later that evening, at a party, Melanie chats with another player, which leads to the impression that she’s flirting. When the player’s girlfriend confronts her, Melanie realizes she has a lot to learn about the unwritten rules of the professional football world.
