Spider-Man encounters what he thinks is his soulmate, a time-traveling alien named Ariel, after her spaceship crashes on Earth. As he works to develop their budding romance, Doctor Octopus seizes the opportunity and takes over the spacecraft, plotting to abduct heavily armed criminals from the future.
