The Griffin Family welcomes new neighbors, prompting Lois to bond with Bonnie, while Meg finds herself infatuated with their son, Kevin. Meanwhile, Peter feels irritated by the whole arrangement. Things take a turn when Peter accidentally injures the star player of his work's baseball team, leading Mr. Weed to demand he find a substitute. Reluctantly, Peter invites Joe to join the game, only to discover that Joe uses a wheelchair. To Peter's surprise, Joe becomes the standout player, leaving Peter feeling envious of his friend's success. In an attempt to prove himself, Peter tries to thwart a bank robbery but ends up getting tangled in the chaos.
